Nepal Doesn't Have an AI Problem. It Has a Digital Skills Problem.
Nepal is entering the AI era with an interesting contradiction: technology is becoming easier to access, while the ability to use it meaningfully remains uneven.
Hello, I’m
I am an IT Professional
I work at the intersection of technology, education and execution: helping turn ideas into programs, projects and people ready for the real world.
IT Professional · Educator · Practitioner · Speaker · Planner
Turning learners into doers, and doers into leaders.
About
I am an IT professional, educator, practitioner and planner based in Kathmandu, Nepal. My work brings together technology, teaching, academic program development, leadership and practical execution, with a particular interest in how we can make education more relevant to the world students are actually preparing to enter.
As an educator, I teach IT and skill-development courses while experimenting with approaches that move beyond lectures and examinations. I believe students learn differently when they are given the opportunity to build, solve, present, collaborate and experience real problems rather than simply reproduce what they have memorised.
As a practitioner, I work on web, software and technology projects, combining development with project and systems thinking. That experience continuously shapes the way I teach: technology education should reflect how technology is actually used outside the classroom.
As an academic planner and programme leader, I work on curriculum development, programme structuring, competitions, industry engagement and initiatives that connect institutions with changing technology and employment realities. I am particularly interested in the gap between what education teaches, what industry expects and what learners are actually capable of doing.
I also work as a speaker, facilitator and mentor, engaging with students and young professionals around technology, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, career readiness and leadership.
But there is another part of my work that matters just as much: developing people who can lead. I believe education should not only produce graduates who can get jobs. It should help develop people who can think independently, take responsibility, create opportunities, lead teams and eventually create other leaders.
